Press Release: HYPE MAN at Duke City Repertory Theatre

Duke City Repertory Theatre presents Night of the Living Dead: from the basement, based on the film by George A. Romero, adapted by DCRT company member Josh Heard and directed by DCRT Artistic Director Amelia Ampuero. The show features DCRT resident actors Ezra Colon, Frank Taylor Green, and Ashley Daniels as well as Catherine Pilafas (The 39 Steps, The Nutcracker) and introducing Elliott King to the DCRT stage. 

?Duke City Repertory Theatre presents The Drunken City, written by Adam Bock and directed by DCRT company member Ezra Colon. The show features DCRT company members Amelia Ampuero, Katie Becker Colon, Frank Taylor Green, Josh Heard, as well as Ashley Daniels (The Nutcracker) and Willis Miller (The Nutcracker, Animal Farm). The production runs May 13-29, 2016 at The Cell Theatre, 700 First St. NW 87102. 

Duke City Repertory Theatre presents Julius Caesar, written by William Shakespeare and adapted and directed by John Hardy. The show features the entire resident acting company of Duke City Rep, including Amelia Ampuero, Ezra Colon, Katie Becker Colon, Frank Taylor Green, Josh Heard, and Lauren Myers. The production runs March 3-20, 2016 at The Cell Theatre, 700 First St. NW 87102.

Duke City Repertory Theatre presents The Nutcracker, directed by Artistic Director Amelia Ampuero and written by Jake Minton, Phillip Klapperich, Kevin O'Donnell, and Tommy Rapley, and based on the story by E.T.A. Hoffman.  The show features company members Ezra Colon, Katie Becker Colon, Frank Taylor Green, Josh Heard, and Lauren Myers, as well as local Albuquerque favorites Ashley Daniels, Willis Miller, and Catharine Pilafas. The production runs December 3-20, 2015 at The Cell Theatre, 700 First St. NW 87102. 

Duke City Repertory Theatre presents All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth, written by Catherine Bush and directed by DCRT company member Frank Taylor Green. Taking on the hilarious challenge of adult actors playing children, the show will feature company members Amelia Ampuero, Katie Becker Colon, Ezra Colon, Josh Heard, Lauren Myers, and newcomer Willis Miller as Sister Susan. The production runs December 4-21, 2014 at The Cell Theatre, 700 1st. Street NW.

Duke City Repertory Theatre presents GASLIGHT, written by Patrick Hamilton and directed by Amelia Ampuero, running September 26th - October 6th, 2013 (Thurs through Sun), with opening night slated for Thursday, September 26th at 8 p.m. at The Cell Theatre.
