Dave McCaleb is a playwright in Gloucester, MA by way of San Francisco. He studied performance with A.C.T. Young Conservatory and holds a BA in Drama and Communications from University of the Pacific (UOP). He has written for two weekly radio comedy series, THE ALIEN CHAMBER PLAYERS and DOORSLAM THEATRE. He co-wrote the murder mystery musical comedy SHERLOCK! (UOP season of alumni playwrights) and AN EVENING WITH DOROTHY PARKER (Rogers Street Theatre). His short plays include LEADER OF THE BAND (2022 Boston Theatre Marathon XXIV), MOVE FORWARD (Gloucester Writers Center), and INTERRUPTED (finalist, Rockport New Year's Eve play contest).
