TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced today that Executive Director Phil Santora will step down from TheatreWorks in June 2022, concluding a tenure of fifteen years.

Last night, supporters of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley gathered to hear the 2019 Regional Theatre Tony Award-winning company and its Board of Trustees announce the launch of its 50th Anniversary Campaign, a $5 million fundraising campaign to ensure the future success of the nationally-acclaimed theatre, including commissions for new plays and musicals. 

This April, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley invites guests to crack open The Legendary Vault, a secret place where magical treasures are stored and thrilling moments of theatre live on, at its annual spring party. Established in Palo Alto in 1970, TheatreWorks has grown over the past 49 years into one of the largest theatre companies in the Bay Area, and one of the nation's leading producers of new works. At this enchanted event, guests will sample delectable food and drink, shop for rare items and experiences, bid on once-in-a-lifetime adventures, and enjoy roof-raising musical performances. Proceeds from the one-night-only experience will benefit TheatreWorks's continued mission to bring the arts to Bay Area audiences. On Saturday, December 7, TheatreWorks opened the Broadway musical 'Little Women' to an enthusiastic, sold-out crowd in Palo Alto, CA. After the performance, attendees emerged into the courtyard of the Lucie Stern Theatre to find snow - make with theatre magic! - followed by a champagne reception and meet-and-greet with the cast.
