Charlotte Athanasidy

Birth Place: Cortlandt Manor, New York

BIO

Born and raised just north of Manhattan, Charlotte Athanasidy has made her career thus far in NY regional and NYC theatre, as well as Hudson Valley TV/film projects. Most notably, her work includes Hallmark's "A Holiday Spectacular" (Principal Dancer), the U.S. premiere of the European-created "A Christmas Carol: A Story Of Hope" (Belle/Dance Captain), Patrick Nash's original "Beulah Land" (Rebecca, the Brand Ambassador), the Chaz Wolcott-directed "Mamma Mia!" (Lisa), and Mariel Mayz' New York Opera Fest premiere of "OPERAbbit" (The Rabbit). Charlotte is a member of the Verdon Fosse Legacy's inaugural invitational Professional Training Program class, and a 2020 graduate of both Hunter College's Muse program and Broadway Dance Center's full-time training program.

Yorktown Heights' Yorktown Stage will debut the new musical A Christmas Carol - A Story of Hope on Thanksgiving weekend. The show is a brand-new musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic, set in London, Christmas 1843 and blends contemporary music with the classic story.

PETER PAN, one of the most crowd-pleasing shows ever presented at Yorktown Stage, is about to fly high once more, entertaining audiences for the start of the holiday season. The perennial family favorite, which has played in front of 10,000 people at this venue in recent years, will have weekend matinee and evening performances during Thanksgiving week of Nov. 21-29.
