ESPN will celebrate the achievements of African-Americans within sports and in society with Black History Month offerings on ESPN platforms during the month of February.

Dead Writers Theatre Collective brings a new level of appreciation to the Oscar Wilde classic, The Importance of Being Earnest, opening July 1 at The Athenaeum Theatre. "To showcase this classic concoction of whipped cream and razor blades, we're juxtaposing the subversive deceit of Wilde's classic while also emphasizing the love story of the two couples," states Collective Artistic Director Jim Schneider. "We're literally staging it in a series of Victorian Valentines -- complete with costumes that are a little over-the-top as they were in Wilde's original production."

 Country Dance*New York (CD*NY) is presenting the Fall Fling Contra Dance tonight, November 21, 2015 with live and lively 21st century contra dance music by The Coffee Zombies. No previous experience is required and it is not necessary to come with a partner. All dances will be taught. The highly regarded caller from Maryland, Janine Smith, walks everyone through the patterns of each dance making contra dancing a delightful pleasure for all.

Attend the reading of the work that made Oscar Wilde an overnight sensation as two of Chicago's finest actresses, Collective members Bonnie Hilton & Joanna Riopelle, take on the iconic role of Mrs. Erlynne, with Megan Delay in the title role of Lady Windermere.
