Rose Kingsley And Richard Shelton Celebrate Streisand and Sinatra In THE CONCERT THAT NEVER WAS
The International Opera Institute presents a celebration of Streisand and Sinatra in
The Concert That Never Was" At The Indian Wells Performing Arts Center on November 10 at 7:30 pm. "The Concert That Never Was" is a concert between Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand that was planned but never took place. This stellar evening will be performed by Opera and Jazz Diva Rose Kingsley, Actor and Entertainer Richard Shelton and The Bob Corwin Trio. Producers notes say "We welcome you to spend a magical evening of Sinatra & Streisand songs along with stories that have never been told -- ann experience that you will long remember!"
Rose Kingsley has been billed "An Opera Great turned Jazz Great", and has transcended the International Opera Stage to Broadway, Jazz, and Blues with a distinct sound like no other singer today. With her 4 octave range she is now wowing audiences from New York to Hollywood with regular appearances at 54 Below/ The Associated Press has said "Rose Kingsley is a welcomed and much needed new Star for Jazz and Cabaret Aficionados" and Michael Feinstein says about Rose, "her song interpretations are Amazing"
Richard Shelton is a Los Angeles based British film, TV and Theatre Actor as well as a highly acclaimed singer. In The UK he is best known for playing the role of Dr. Adam Forsythe of British TV's long-running drama, "Emmerdale" and for his Best Actor in a Leading Role portrayal of Frank Sinatra in the Award Winning drama "Rat Pack Confidential " in London's West End. He has recorded at Capitol Records, Hollywood and Abbey Road Studios, London. Mike Young of the BBC has proclaimed "Shelton as Sinatra is Simply Phenomenal" and Charles Spenser of The Daily Telegraph has called his Sinatra "Marvellously Played".
