Linden Waddell Camps it Up with HELLO AGAIN at Arthur Newman Theater
Los Angeles based singer and actress Linden Waddell brings her hit cabaret show, "Hello Again! The Songs Of Allan Sherman" to the Arthur Newman Theater at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2 PM. Pianist Marjorie Poe will join her and tickets are $15 cash only with doors opening at 1 PM.
Linden Waddell, who works in Hollywood as a writer and producer, has performed in over 50 musicals. As a member of the Colony Theatre, she appeared in countless productions, winning numerous awards and nominations. An alumna of LACC Theatre Academy, Ms. Waddell gives back in many ways including serving on the board of directors for such acclaimed organizations as Hidden Valley Music Seminars, Carmel Valley Institute of the Arts, and Downey Performing Arts Foundation. "Hello Again!" is Linden's 5th solo cabaret show and took her a year to write and develop the story. Working with director and choreographer Janet Miller, the show made its debut and had a successful run in Los Angeles. Word of its popularity spread quickly and it has since played to sold-out houses throughout Southern California. Linden actually performed this show here back in July of 2016 to several standing ovations and audience acclaim. That prompted the producer of the Cabaret On Sunday's Series, Les Michaels, to include her once again for this 8th season that runs through April. Joining Linden on Sunday, January 21st will be pianist Marjorie Poe, as we remember many of the parody songs from songwriter Allan Sherman's heyday in the 1960's, and be touched by his personal story as well.
