Gia Mora Sings Hoagy Carmichael in 'The Cool, Cool, Cool, of The Evening' at Arthur Newman Theater Palm Desert

Singer and actress Gia Mora will sing the songs of Hoagy Carmichael on Sunday, March 4, 2018 as part of the Cabaret On Sundays Series presented by Les Michaels at the Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. Tickets for Gia Mora in "The Cool, Cool, Cool, of The Evening" with Rick Chinisci on guitar are available for $15 cash only at the door.

Gia Mora is a busy singer and actress who has guest starred on numerous network TV series and commercials in addition to her film work. With her four-octave range, Ms. Mora will take the audience on journey through the works of American composer Hoagy Carmichael. Carmichael's songs have become some of music's greatest standards; a few include Georgia On My Mind, Heart And Soul, The Nearness Of You, andStardust. This performance will mark Ms. Mora's third appearance for this cabaret concert series produced by Les Michaels, now in it's 8th season at the Arthur Newman Theater. Gia is thrilled to be accompanied by her very own father, famed guitarist, Rick Chinisci, who's played with Liza Minnelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Della Reese, Carol Channing, Debbie Reynolds, Petula Clark, Marilyn McCoo, The Drifters, Tanya Tuck, and Andrea Bocelli, among many other.
