TRANSLATIONS Plays Ottawa Little Theatre Through 3/3
By: Max Schwager
Translations, a drama by Brian Friel and directed by Klaas van Weringh, will play the Ottawa Little Theatre through March 3rd.
Set in a small Irish village in the mid 1800's, a clash of cultures leads to comic misunderstandings, romance and drama when the British Army moves in to translate place names in the area from ancient Irish Gaelic to the King’s English. Translations is a co-production in association with Tara Players.
