USITT to Present LED Training with Chauvet at Disney World, 8/29-30
Following last month's successful LED training in Miami, USITT and Chauvet are again teaming up to offer LED lighting training for theatre environments via one-day workshops August 29 and 30 at Walt Disney
World in Orlando. The classes are open to both Disney personnel and other professionals either day.
CHAUVET Professional Senior Product Manager Ford Sellers will lead the daylong session, USITT Presents: How to Blend LED with Traditional Fixtures. The class covers how to transition and balance existing stage lighting with energy-saving LEDs - including LED basics, fixture types, and theatre applications with Lekolites, strips, Fresnel lenses, and cycloramas; as well as design concepts and hands-on practice with Chauvet tools.
USITT Presents is a series of hands-on workshops with industry leaders across the country, deeply discounted as a member benefit. USITT's first training with Chauvet was June 3 at the University of Miami.
In another upcoming class, USITT Presents Sound System Design at Meyer Sound Labs in Berkeley, California, on Friday, August 16.
The cost for the 9-to-5 classes, including lunch, is $60 for USITT members, and $30 for student/early career members. The cost is $120 and $60 for non-member professionals and students.
