SEASONS Set for Lowndes Shakespeare Center This Weekend

SEASONS The musical, written by Orlando local playwright and composer, Elaine Pechacek, with co-writer Katie Hammond, will be showing at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center in the Mandell Theatre this weekend, September 26th & 27th @ 8:00pm.
Tickets are $18.00 General Admission, and $15.00 for Students & Seniors. Tickets available at: www.seasonsthemusical.com. SEASONS recently was in the 2014 Orlando Fringe Festival where it was awarded 4 Audience choice awards out of 90+ shows including: Best of the Fest, Best Musical. Best Local Show, and Best in Venue. Matt Palm with the Orlando Sentinel also named it top twelve, Best of the Fest! Since being presented in the Fringe Festival, SEASONS has received invites state wide to perform in various markets including a two weekend run in Ft Lauderdale, FL in November and a full seasonal run in Plant City, FL next September. Prior to the Fringe Festival, SEASONS has been produced in Oklahoma, Ohio, New York City with the Time Square Theatre Festival, and internationally with the York New Musical Festival in England. Why do we love? Why do we accept the pain and struggles associated with love? Is it worth it? SEASONS challenges these questions and presents love as an unassuming and undeniable part of the human existence. In this unique musical, journey with newly engaged Hope as her mom, Mrs. Jones, confronts a cancer diagnosis while Peter finds new love with Helen after a one night stand turns into an unexpected pregnancy.
