Orlando REP Falls Under Enchantment With ELLA ENCHANTED The Musical
ORLANDO REPERTORY THEATRE (Orlando REP) is proud to present Ella Enchanted The Musical from January 28 February 24, with the first public performance taking place on February 2.
Based on the Newbery award-winning book by Gail Carson Levine, Ella Enchanted The Musical follows strong-willed Ella through a fairytale land of ogres, giants, and fairy godmothers. Ella has been given the gift of obedience, placing her under a spell that forces her to do as everyone commands her. Embarking on a quest to reverse the curse, Ella's tale is a modern musical twist on the Cinderella story, as she seeks to find her own voice and live as her true self. This production is full of beautiful music, larger-than life puppets, and, of course, happily ever after.
The magical cast includes Tay Anderson, Mason Criswell, Dayja Le'Chelle, Laura Mansoori, Justin Mousseau, Brittany Dobbs Neff, and Holly Marie Weber.
The enchanting production team includes direction by Cynthia White, musical direction by Robby Stamper, choreography by Chally Rowjohn, scenic design by Cindy White, costumes by Mandy Brumby, lighting by Travis McHale, sound by Anthony Narciso, and props by Tara Kromer.
Ella Enchanted The Musical runs from January 28 February 24, with daytime and evening performances available weekdays and weekends. Tickets are $25 for Adults and $15 for Youth (ages 3-17). Lap children under the age of 3 are admitted without charge. Tickets may be purchased by calling the box office at 407-896-7365 or by visiting orlandorep.com.
