National New Play Network Announces 29th Rolling World Premiere: THE EXIT INTERVIEW
The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 29th Rolling World Premiere: William Missouri Downs' The Exit Interview will receive five productions through the Network's Continued Life of New Plays Fund in the 2012/13 season.
The Exit Interview will begin its Rolling World Premiere at Orlando Shakespeare Theatre (Orlando, FL, September 27 – October 21), followed by performances at San Diego REPertory Theatre (San Diego, CA, September 29 – October 21), InterAct Theatre Company (Philadelphia, PA, October 19 – November 11), Riverside Theatre (Iowa City, IA, January 25 – February 17), and Actor's Theatre of Charlotte (Charlotte, NC, April 4 – April 27). Downs' play was read at the NNPN's 2011 National Showcase of New Plays in November in Philadelphia.
