MADISON SQUARE PARK, a new musical by playwright Michael F. Bruck and composer Michael DeMaio will be presented Saturday, October 20th at 8PM at the Dramatists Guild as part of the Friday Night Footlights Reading Series. Reservations must be made for this event which is free.
On an early, misty summer morning, the prideful Clara a NYC walking tour guide with a fascination for Edith Wharton meets Home Depot employee Joey and sparks fly as these two unlike people share details of their lives with each other and find a mutual attraction along the way. This charming, musical tale instilled with history, humor and poignancy will feature actor/singers Mario Morales, Cassandra Lambros and Michael James Fry as the characters whose stories unfold in this heartwarming 90 minute musical.
