Toni Press-Coffman's TOUCH to Play Hudson Guild Theater, 8/1-11

When tragedy upends the well-ordered existence of astronomer Kyle Kalke, he looks for answers in the cosmos he has devoted his life to studying. With the help of his oldest friend, the poetry of Keats, a pragmatic prostitute and a small celestial miracle, he finds the connection he seeks here on earth in TOUCH, an eloquent and unflinching exploration of love and loss from award-winning playwright Toni Press-Coffman.

Avalon Studios NYC, Inc. launched into New York's performance and art scene in November, 2012 with its Inaugural Event, "LEAVING NORMAL." On August 1, 2013 Avalon will kick-off its 2013 season with a new, multi-media staging of Toni Press-Coffman's gripping, and often heart-wrenching play, TOUCH.

This event will also feature a companion PHOTO-EXHIBIT by Jennifer Skura, which will be displayed in our lobby.

Starring Jonathan Berenson, Emily Code, Dorothy McMillan, Mike Petrie, Jr. and Rachel Spencer, TOUCH also features special "film" appearances by Jessica Barstis, Diana Berenson, Janine Berenson, Steven Berenson, Howard Code, Susan Strawgate Code, Glen Coffman, Andrew Colford, Victoria Gillette, Barbaro James, Jessica Park, Toni Press-Coffman, Max Ridgeway, Audrey Rosenblith & Michael Shimkin.

The production is Directed by Deborah Mathieu-Byers, with Costume Design by Miodrag Guberinic, Lighting Design by Nastassia Jimenez, Scenic Design by Marija Plavsic Kostic & Projection Design by Jarrel Lynch.
