Titan Theatre Company Offers Discounted Early Bird Tickets to A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM Today

By:

Titan Theatre Company previously announced that it will offer a limited block of $12 tickets to its ambitious new production of Shakespeare's infectious comedy of sly sprites, rude mechanicals and confused lovers, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. The production will run today, October 18-November 3, 2013 at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City, a convenient one-stop subway ride out of Manhattan. $12 early-bird discount tickets (reg. $15 online, $18 at the door) are available to patrons now through September 17, 2013. Simply visit www.TitanTheatreCompany.com, click "Get Tickets Now," select a performance, and enter code TITANTIX.

"At Titan we're passionate about infusing the classics with accessibility and bold-adventure, so naturally we're excited to invite patrons to take the subway one stop out of Manhattan and join us for this unprecedented, must-see take on A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, all for less than the cost of a movie ticket," said Titan Managing Director and Producer Kevin Beebee. "In true Titan fashion this 'Dream' is unlike anything audiences have experienced, packed with unexpected thrills, gender reversals, shock, awe and the signature electric, addictive performances that TITAN audiences were left praising last season."

Following a celebrated season of provocative takes on the Bard, Titan Theatre Company embarks on its adventurous new season as nine of New York's best classical actors will take to the stage to play sixteen roles in Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. However, with the exception of Puck, our Master of Ceremonies, no one will know his or her track until their names are drawn from a hat before the audience each night.

The cast of A Midsummer Night's Dream features Titan Theatre Company members Laura Frye andAlexis Black, as well as Titan favorite Sean Hudock (star of the critically acclaimed film "Private Romeo," Shakespeare Theatre of NJ), Emily Trask (Twelfth Night at Folger Theater, Yale Rep, Utah Shakespeare),Matthew Foster ("House of Cards"; "Law & Order: SVU"), Gregory Isaac (Chicago Shakespeare, Steppenwolf), Ryan Lee (Virginia Shakespeare, Illinois Shakespeare), Jonathon Mathew Finnegan(Actor's Theatre of Louisville), Lloyd Mulvey (Milwaukee Rep, Utah Shakespeare).

With direction by Lenny Banovez, who previously helmed Titan's hit productions of Romeo and Juliet andHenry V, A Midsummer Night's Dream is produced by Titan Theatre Company Managing Director Kevin Beebee and the late Leonard Banovez, Sr.

The creative team also includes Alan Piotrowicz (Lighting Design), Scott Frost (Costume Design),Michael Selkirk (Sound Design), Alexis Black (Fight Choreography), Alexis Achilles (Technical Direction) and Egypt Dixon (Stage Management).

The Secret Theatre is an air-conditioned venue located just blocks from the 7,E,M,G,N and Q trains in Queens at 44-02 23rd St, Long Island City, NY.
