The Skinny with Peter DeGiglio: Combating Poverty on Thanksgiving Eve!
Imagine Meet the Press crashed into the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. The end result would be "The Skinny with Peter DeGiglio", a comedy news talk show that tackles a new hot button sociopolitical issue each month; often ripped right from the headlines. For each month's show 'The Skinny' features two guests: The Skinny Exclusive, a local artist commissioned to create a performance centered specifically around that month's theme, and the Very Special Guest, a high-profile figure from the worlds of journalism, literature, politics, academia, grassroots, or the media. November's show will feature comedian Rojo Perez and Dr. Robert L. Hawkins, Associate Professor in Poverty Studies at McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and ResearchSpecial Discount This Month Only: Bring a canned good or non-perishable food item and get $3 off your ticket! The show will run on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Under St. Marks Theater, 94 St Marks Place, Manhattan, at 9pm. Admission: $10/ $7 with a non-perishable item.
