The Joust Theatre Company to Stage Dipika Guha's THE RULES, 2/12-21

By:
The Joust Theatre Company is proud to introduce their production of The Rules by Dipika Guha. Directed by Cynthia Silver, the show will run from February 12-14 and 18-21 at 8pm, with a 2pm matinee on the 21st at The Alchemical Theatre Laboratory located at 104 W 14th St. Tickets are available for $12 through Ovation Tix at or by phone (646) 543- 8548.

When Ana (Isabelle Van Vleet), Julia (Mikele Hogan) and Mehr (Zoe Curzi) all fall in love with the same mysterious man (Andrew Carr), these old friends must reexamine the rules of love, friendship, and how we communicate in our technologically saturated world. Dipika Guha's The Rules is a "late coming of age story" following Ana, as she redefines how she views herself, her closest friends, and what it means to love.

Dipika Guha, the current inaugural winner of the Shakespeare's Sister Fellowship, was born in Calcutta and raised in India, Russia and the United Kingdom. She studied English Literature at University College London, was a Frank Knox Fellow at Harvard University and received her MFA from the Yale School of Drama under Paula Vogel. Cynthia Silver is an actress, teacher and director.
