The Brick Theater Presents DEMOCRACY, Now thru 7/1

In an election year, it is important for all U.S. citizens to do their patriotic duty. For that reason, The Brick is extending its annual Summer Theme Festival Series with DEMOCRACY, a summer theater festival of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Throughout the month of June, 8 candidates will campaign against each other through a series of Public Appearances (i.e., performances) for the title of President of The Brick. The elected official will be given reign over The Brick for two weeks during January 2013, and will be in charge of curating all programming during this time period.
DEMOCRACY runs today, May 31 through July 1 at The Brick (575 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY). Tickets to all Public Appearances are $15 and may be purchased in advance starting Friday, May 4th at www.bricktheater.com or by calling 866-411-4111. All Election Events are FREE and open to the general voting public.
