The Brick Presents CONFESS YOUR BUBBLE, 6/21-30

Playwright Matthew Freeman and director Kyle Ancowitz (The Theater Accident) return to The Brick with CONFESS YOUR BUBBLE. Their previous appearances include the much-ballyhooed productions of Glee Club and An Interview with the Author and That Old Soft Shoe.

In CONFESS YOUR BUBBLE, Senator Carl Corpuscle, a Democratic Senator from the Great State of Washington (not D.C.) presents a court-mandated address about his life in government to local high school students, in order to satisfy the terms of a plea bargain. Attendance is not mandatory, and only students over 17 may attend. Senator Corpuscle discusses his role in the Democratic Administration, delivers a civics lesson, and offers dire warnings—with slides to illustrate his points.

CONFESS YOUR BUBBLE will play as part of THE DEMOCRACY FESTIVAL, June 21-30th at The Brick (575 Metropolitan Avenue between Union and Lorimer). Matthew Freeman (Playwright) is a Brooklyn-based playwright.
