ABOUT DIRTY MAE

After the rise and fall of his fame as the "Dell Computer Dude," award-winning actor & Tennessee native, Ben Curtis, decided to pursue his roots in his first passion: music. His vocal grit, southern-bred blues and rockstar presence have landed him success in bands across the nation, but it wasn't until 2012, when met the sweet & sultry California-native, Cassie Fireman, that he truly began to shine. She's more than just good looks. With her sultry voice, insatiable talent for lyrics and poetry, Cassie put a spell on the southern boy. Their connection was electric and there was no escaping their unbreakable bond. They've since had 3 musical projects together ranging from bluegrass to hard rock, and as a result, have been featured in numerous national publications. They knew something was missing though, and 2 years later, in the summer of 2016, they found it. Curtis befriended a young musical prodigy by the name of Robin Frost. Frost belted out old world New Orleans jazz and blues that he seems to channel from a past life, and they two knew they had something special. Curtis introduced Frost to his project with Fireman, and thus emerged the unique and magnetic sound that is DIRTY MAE, an unforgettable unique sound of sultry jazz, old world blues & rocking Americana that will keep you swinging all night long. In less than one year, they been featured on the CW Network & graced world-class venues such as (le) Poisson Rouge, BB Kings and most recently CitiField for the Yankees Mets Subway Series Concert.
