Sanguine Theatre Company presents Wild by Crystal Skillman at the IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street) in downtown Manhattan. Evan F. Caccioppoli, who helmed the world premiere of the play in Chicago, will direct the New York premiere.

Peter and Bobby graduated from Northwestern together, live together, work together and sleep together. But when on of them cheats with a woman, they dive into a world of wild sexual affairs that threaten what they once had. Set on a beach on Lake Michigan, Wild is a savagely funny Chicago story of desperate love.

When Wild premiered in Chicago, Time Out Chicago raved that "(Crystal) Skillman and Evan Caccioppoli get two things right: (1) the special ring of hell that is living with someone you've broken up with and (2) the fact that long-term love is more than anything an act of determination." Centerstage added, "Not only is Skillman's script filled with conflict, interesting characters and stark sexuality, but Caccioppoli's direction allows it all to play out naturally."

The cast includes Jeff Ronan (These Seven Sicknesses, Flea Theater), Hunter Canning (Broadway: War Horse), Joshua Levine (Channeling Kevin Spacey, St. Luke's), Diana Stahl (The Boat in the Tiger Suit, Brick Theater), Lyonel Reneau (US Tour: Shrek The Musical) and David Armanino (This Property Is Condemned, Dorothy Strelsin Theatre).

The creative team includes Jonathan Cottle (sets/lights), Holly Rihn (costumes), Grant Jefferson (sound), Jesse Geguzis (fight choreographer), Christopher Fitzer (resident creative), Jillian Robertson (producer), Karly Fischer (producer) and Anna Fearheiley (producer). The production stage manager is Lauren Stern.

Tickets are $15 in advance ($18 at the door) and available at www.brownpapertickets.com or by calling 800-838-3006. Performances of Wild run March 12 through April 6, Thursday through Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, between Washington St. & Greenwich St.).

Wild was produced in part, through Kori Rushton, and IRT's Residency Season. For more information, visit www.irttheater.org.
