SANTASTICAL Opens 12/17 in NYC

Department store Santa Claus's across New York are shaking in their black boots as Psycho Clan, the artistic team behind New York's iconic Nightmare Haunted House & Full Bunny Contact Extreme Egg Hunt announces that they will be presenting a twisted, new Holiday season attraction called SANTASTICAL, a fully immersive window display that pulls you into the world of six different Santas (and we mean different) December 17th - December 24th at The Clemente, located at 107 Suffolk Street between Rivington and Delancey on Manhattan's lower east side. SANTASTICAL: A VERY, MERRY TWISTMAS has you wander through a distorted winter wonderland that culminates in 6 different types of Santa Clauses. You then have to make the hardest decision of your life - with which Santa's lap do you sit on to take a weird photo. Throughout the run there will be special guest Santas to choose from, but the core will consist of Bernie Santas, Sexy Mrs. Claus, Black Santa, Hunky Shirtless Santa, the evil Krampus and of course, Hanukklaus... you know for the spawn of Jewish and Gentile parents. Participants get a special photo with their character of choice and bring it home to treasure forever or send out as a holiday card or throw in the trash, whatevs. Elves, snowmen, pretend ice-skating rinks, Christmas music Karaoke, hot apple cider, cocoa and other holiday cheer abound as this winter wonderland is pure nostalgia for adults who miss acting like kids and don't want to see another terrible holiday film.
"It's as if the gaudiest Midwest Christmas lawn display exponentially exploded inside a NYC room," says Santastical creator Timothy Haskell. "This is Nostalgic, irreverent fun for adults who remember fondly (or not, we don't give a sh*t) taking pictures with Santa at the Mall. Except this time you can choose from 6 wildly different types of Santas to take a picture with and you're now about 2 feet taller and a hundred pounds heavier than you were. "

ABOUT PSYCHO CLAN: Psycho Clan had long been the artistic team behind the world renowned "Nightmare Haunted House" and produced Nightmare Horror Show this past Halloween. The original Psycho Clan members, Timothy Haskell (the creator of Nightmare Haunted House) and Paul Smithyman (production designer), have been joined by Charles Dunham, Faye Armon (Broadway props designer) and Nathaniel Nowak (producer, Full Bunny Contact) to expand productions of the Psycho Clan company to include various immersive theatrical spectacles this season and beyond.
