Revolutionary Love's GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS! Begins NY Run at Alchemical Theatre Lab Tonight

By:

Revolutionary Love Productions brings its latest musical offering to New York this May with Girls, Girls, Girls!-a unique and engaging blend of musical theatre and visual arts that celebrates the power, influence and sensuality of women.

The all-female cast of Girls, Girls, Girls! will deliver a burlesque-inspired revue of songs performed against a background of artist Heather Leigh Corey's exhibition of sculpted corset pieces and hand cast torsos.

Girls, Girls, Girls! will run 8 p.m. performances from tonight, May 15th to Saturday, May 18th at the Alchemical Theatre Laboratory on West 14th Street.

Revolutionary Love Productions LLC was established in Jersey City, New Jersey and has produced a number of reviews, autobiographical shows and women-centric musicals, including A Christmas Special, What You Don't Know About Women and I Stand. Girls, Girls, Girls! is the group's first foray into combining both visual and performance art.

Girls, Girls, Girls! brings together sensual elements that are commonly identified with the objectification of women-burlesque, corsets, the female body-but refocuses them not as a definition, but a celebration of women and our freedom of expression," explained Tawna Michel Dabney, Revolutionary Love Productions' Artistic Director and creator and choreographer of Girls, Girls, Girls!

Ms. Dabney's past credits as choreographer include regional productions of Miss Saigon, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, West Side Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chicago, Jekyll & Hyde and Little Shop of Horrors, among others.

Music Director Zachary Ryan helps bring Girls, Girls, Girls! to life by offering vocal direction and creating a range of original musical tracks for the show. Mr. Ryan is currently the music director for the Off Broadway production of Sistas. His past credits include various productions of I Stand, Little by Little, The Last 5 Years, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chicago and Little Shop of Horrors.

Ms. Corey completes the vision of Girls, Girls, Girls through her sculpted corset pieces and hand cast torsos. She is a New York Metro-Area based artist inspired by the feminine form. Her featured work showcases her wall relief series, 'The Love Garments,' which focus on dramatic coloring and a textural experiences that strive to seduce the viewer.
