Photo Flash: First Look at THE COTTAGE, Opening Tonight at Queens Theatre

By:

Queens Theatre (QT) presents Sandy Rustin's THE COTTAGE, a romantic comedy directed by Adam Dannheisser (Rock of Ages, resident director/performer). THE COTTAGE, which returns to Queens after a successful run at the Astoria Performing Arts Center, will play a two week limited engagement at Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South, Flushing Meadows Corona Park). Performances begin tonight, November 7 and continue through Sunday, November 16. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

THE COTTAGE is a rollicking farce in the style of Noel Coward. Set in the English countryside in 1923, this tale of sex, betrayal and, oh yes, love, unfolds when a beautiful British bird decides to expose her love affair to her husband and her lover's wife. The true meanings of fate, identity and marriage are called into question as a surprising, hilarious web of secrets unravels in this delightful-and potentially murderous-romantic comedy.

The production stars Daniel Bielinski* (Macbeth, Classic Stage Company) as Richard, Maria Couch* (On the Levee, Lincoln Center) as Marjorie, Michelle Federer* as Sylvia, Bailey Frankenberg as Dierdre, Jason Loughlin* (1st Nat'l Tour: War Horse) as Beau, and Justin Packard* as Clarke.

Scenic Design is by Stephen K. Dobay, Costume design by Ryan J. Moller andLighting Design by Evan Roby. Janie Bullard is Sound Designer, Katie K. White is Props Designer, Deidre Works* is the Production Stage Manager. Publicity is by Katie Rosin/Kampfire PR.

Tickets are $25-42, available online at www.queenstheatre.org or by calling the Box Office at 718-760-0064. Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Queens Theatre Box Office, Tuesday through Friday 12am to 6pm, and two hours before showtimes on weekends.
