Photo Flash: First Look At Hunger Theatre Company's EVERYTHING WILL BE DIFFERENT
Hunger Theatre Company's production of Mark Schultz' EVERYTHING WILL BE DIFFERENT: A BRIEF HISTORY OF HELEN OF TROY is playing now through June 30th in the Bridge Theatre at Shetler Studios. Schultz' twisted, bitingly comic play is a dark and unsettling exploration of grief, sex, beauty, and adolescence.
Teenage Charlotte's beautiful mother is dead. In the midst of her own grief and her father's unwillingness to cope, Charlotte finds herself searching in fantasy for what she cannot find in reality. She turns for comfort to the story of Helen of Troy, convinced that beauty, desire, and fame can help bring her mother back and punish the world that took her away in the first place.
The cast features Allison Wick (Charlotte), Ken Schatz* (Harry), Shannon Cabbell (Heather), Luke Wehner* (Franklin), Joseph Virgo (Freddie), and James Goodnight (Gary), with scenic design by Jennilee Aromando, lighting design by Natalie Avery, and costume design by Amanda Lionetti.
