A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES in concert, adapted and directed by Charlotte Moore, runs through December 31, 2011 at the Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street), with musical direction by John Bell.
A holiday favorite, A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES in concert stars Irish Repertory favorites and Broadway veterans. The iconic piece features traditional and contemporary Christmas music interwoven within Dylan Thomas's classic story of the famous snowy Christmas Day in Wales.
The ensemble includes Edwin Cahill (LOVEMUSIK); Howard McGillin (Tony-nominee for ANYTHING GOES and THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD; Broadway's longest-running Phantom in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA); Ashley Robinson (Irish Repertory's MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS), Danielle Erin Rhodes (THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES); and Beverly Ward (CRAZY FOR YOU National Tour, Helen Hayes Award nominee).
The Off-Broadway production features costume design by David Toser and lighting design by Michael O'Connor. Production Stage Manager is April Ann. Kline.
