Performed by Lake Simons, ETIQUETTE UNRAVELED is a comedic solo piece that spotlights the struggle to live an organized life when chaos prevails. To escape the mundane patterns of life, an unusual woman dives into her make believe world of imagination. Driven by curiosity, she's lead into a series of vignettes that begin with order but swiftly unravel...leaving her fantasy world in tatters. A tea party with a misbehaving guest, a chance meeting culminating in a kiss, a captain at sea, a cowboy taming his mare, and a final duet make up a day-in-the-life of ETIQUETTE UNRAVELED.

Developed through multiple Creation Residencies at One Arm Red, an excerpt under the Working Title At Long Last was presented at HERE Theater's CultureMart last year and premiered under the title ETIQUETTE UNRAVELED at the Hip Pocket Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas in July of 2010.

Chad Lynch (Co-creator and director) has been on staff at the Guthrie Theater, The Public Theater, and Theatre de la Jeune Lune, as well as creating works for HBO, MTV, VH-1, Showtime, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and numerous Broadway Shows.

Lake Simons (Co-creator, director & performer) has performed in over 20 productions at the Hip Pocket Theatre in Ft. Worth Texas and has created her own works for the past 12 years. As a designer, Lake has collaborated with New York Shakespeare Festival, Doug Elkins, and Division 13 among others. She is the recipient of multiple Jim Henson Foundation Grants.

Simons and Lynch have worked together in various capacities for the past 10 years. They reunited in New York City working at the same scenic shop in Brooklyn and later working together artistically. They collaborated on the creation of a project called Prairie? What Prairie? which premiered at HERE Theatre in New York City in 2002. Chad also performed with Lake in the Simon/Dyer production of What's Inside the Egg? at HERE Theatre in NYC.
