New York Neo-Classical Ensemble Presents TWELTH NIGHT Jan. 8-24, 2009

NEW YORK NEO-CLASSICAL ENSEMBLE (Stephen Stout, Artistic Director, BILL GRIFFIN, Managing Director) is pleased to announce its production of "TWELFTH NIGHT" by William Shakespeare, directed by Stephen Stout. The production opens on Thursday, January 8 at 8:00 pm at THE KIRK THEATRE on Theatre Row. Performances continue Friday, January 9 and Saturday, January 10, and Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 pm, through Saturday, January 24. NYNeo-Classical Ensemble's TWELFTH NIGHT reflects the joy and doubt of a young generation dealing with a world of uncertainty. Shakespeare's comedy about the lengths we go to reach those we love is combined with a live band, playing a fresh indie rock score that sounds like it was downloaded from iTunes this morning.

Stephen Stout (Director) directed MIDSUMMER and TWELFTH NIGHT for NYNEO. As an actor, he appeared as Navarre in LOVE'S LABOURS LOST and as Posthumus in CYMBELINE at the Baryshnikov Arts Center.
