Na Perone to Present New York Premiere of FASBUK This July

Theatre is a powerful vehicle and it's even more powerful when it transcends languages and cultures. LightSwitch Entertainment (Melissa Edelblum and Gregory Davis) and Slovakian theatre company, Na Peróne, proudly present the New York premiere of FASBUK.

FASBUK is an original devised piece from Slovakia. "Ode to Teatre" was created as a collective creative process as a result of attempting to dramatize a text awarded in competition. "My Life in Projects," that's how today's paraphrase of Stanislavki's "My Life in Art" would be today according to the authors of FASBUK. This electrifying and truthful piece is an original mosaic of mini-stories with intense climaxes that tell a generation's statement, almost a confession about ourselves.

FASBUK has been produced in several European countries and is being supported by the FPU - Slovak Arts Council. The show will run at the Steve & Marie Sgouros Theatre (upstairs) at The Players Theatre (115 MacDougal Street) on July 14-16 and July 21-22. All performances begin at 7:30PM.
