Korzo to Serve Exclusive Menu at THE PIG, OR VACLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG at 3-Legged Dog, 3/6-29

By:

Korzo, the critically acclaimed Central European farm-to-table restaurant with two NYC locations (Park Slope and the East Village), will prepare exclusive menu items to serve at THE PIG, OR VÁCLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG at 3-Legged Dog, produced by Untitled Theater Company #61.

THE PIG, OR VÁCLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG, Václav Havel tells the story of search for a pig he can cook for a party with his dissident friends. An American journalist arrives for an interview. The villagers have a pig to sell, but where is it? And why is everyone singing The Bartered Bride? Food, drink, song, video, politics and celebration collide.

Korzo is providing a selection of their popular "Langos," which features delectable sandwich items wrapped around Slovak rising dough flatbread deep and deep fried to perfection. These Langos items were created exclusively for the production, and are available only at performances of THE PIG, OR VÁCLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG.

Audience members can chose either:

A paprika caraway spiced pulled pork wrapped in grilled Langos, emmentaller cheese, tomato, house made aioli, and market greens.

A vegetarian grilled Langos wrap with beet-chickpea-carrot spread, baby Gouda, arugula, Moravian Riesling caramelized shallots, fire roasted sweet peppers, and baby arugula.

Korzo is a Central European, farm-to-table restaurant in South Park Slope, Brooklyn. It is owned and operated by Otto and Maria Zizak-both natives of the former Czechoslovakia. The couple sourced the composition and execution of the entire menu from their generations-long family recipes. Since its opening in 2008, Korzo has received numerous awards, including "Best Slovak Restaurant" - The Village Voice, 4 Stars - Time Out NY, "NYC Classic Burgers" - Travel Channel, "Best Dishes of The Year: Halušky" - The Village Voice and many others.

Tickets to the show, including the dinner, are $45. (Tickets to the show only, without the dinner, are $20). Patrons who wish to order dinner must book 24 hours in advance.

THE PIG, OR VÁCLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG, written by Václav Havel and Vladimír Morávek, adapted into English by Edward Einhorn.
