Storybook Burlesque: The Bible Show

From the Tree of Knowledge and Lazarus to the Plagues of Egypt and the Second Coming, The Bible Show re-imagines everything you thought you learned in Sunday school. This year, Storybook Burlesque takes a look at the darker side of the Bible, exploring this original horror classic with blasphemy and boobs. Nevermore will you see a gothic fairytale such as Storybook Burlesque Presents: Edgar Allan Poe, Tales of the Macabre. Featuring performances by BB Heart, Bitty Bamboo, Boo Bess, Cheeky Lane, Jenny C'est Quoi, Magdalena Fox and Rosey La Rouge. Let our captivating host, Edgar Allan Poe himself, lead you through this ghastly night. Special performance by Cornelius Loy on the theremin.

HORSE TRADE THEATER GROUP is a self-sustaining theater development group; with a focus on new work, it has produced a massive quantity of stimulating downtown theater.
