Eccentric Theatre Presents ZAMBONI at SoHo Playhouse

Eccentric Theater Company is proud to announce that after a sold out run at FringeNYC, ZAMBONI will return for a five performance engagement as part of the Fringe Encore Series. The original FringeNYC run of ZAMBONI was loved by audiences and critics alike, and received a Fringe Excellence Award for Direction.

This limited extension runs October 3-15 on the Mainstage at SoHo Playhouse.

Jamie has resurfaced the ice rink for decades - frozen in isolation, unnoticed by the world around him. But now, everything is about to change...

ZAMBONI is written by Sean-Patrick O'Brien and directed by New York Innovative Theatre award winner Leslie Kincaid Burby.

Sometimes all it takes is a strong story and basic storytelling to make the perfect Fringe play. Those were the main ingredients of Sean-Patrick O'Brien's nearly flawless ZAMBONI.

Mr. Franchini fills his character with uncertainty, frailty, instability, and addiction all the while showing the strength to attempt to overcome temptations, change his inevitable destiny and search for a love he has never experienced. It is a performance that is not easy to watch but should not be missed.

ZAMBONI features Nick DiLeonardi, Drama Desk Nominee Joseph Franchini* (The Navigator), Dylan Martin Frankel, Dawn McGee* ("House of Cards," "Louie"), Lucy McMichael* (March Madness, "Louie"), Mae Mitchell, Mickey Ryan* (Arms in the Man, "Darklight"), and Lauren Slakter.

ZAMBONI features scenic design by Duane Pagano, lighting design by Nate Cabana, sound design by Benny Goldmintz, and costume design by Chloe Heymans and Molly Tomecek. Kim Marie Jones* is the production stage manager, with Bronwyn Edwards as the assistant stage manager. Veronica Shea and Sean-Patrick O'Brien serve as co-producers for the production.

Performance dates and times are: Monday, October 3 at 8pm, Saturday, October 8 at 7pm, Sunday, October 9 at 7pm, Wednesday, October 12 at 8pm, and Saturday, October 15 at 7pm. Tickets are $18 and available at http://www.sohoplayhouse.com/fringe-encore-series-2016.
