Denis Lambert (Broadway's A Chorus Line, White Christmas,Yank!) will appear in his solo show Getting Tall on Friday April 29 and Sunday May 1 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Getting Tallis presented as part of VoixDor Live's Emerging Artists Series. Tickets are currently on sale atSmarttix.com.

Getting Tall will feature music direction by Jasper Grant, Phong Ta on violin and Julie Danielson on bass. It is directed by Diana Basmajian.

Getting Tall is "Denis' version of growing up, featuring songs by Maury Yeston, Elton John, John Bucchino, Stephen Sondheim, Charles Strouse and many more."

Performances are at 7:00pm on April 29 and 2:00pm on May 1. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located at 407 W. 42nd St NYC 10036. Tickets are available at www.smarttix.com. Admission is $20 with a $15 food/beverage minimum. Full dinner menu is available.

DENIS LAMBERT performed on Broadway in the revival of A Chorus Line and starred as Phil Davis in the National Tour of White Christmas. He also appeared in Yank! at the York Theatre, Finian's Rainbow at City Center Encores! and in the National Tours of The Producers and A Chorus Line. Regional credits include the Kennedy Center, Paper Mill Playhouse, Syracuse Stage, Music Theatre of Wichita and the Ordway Center.

DIANA BASMAJIAN has worked with many Broadway artists including Tony nominee Kate Baldwin, Aaron Lazar, and international star and Tony winner Lea Salonga at venues all over New York City including Lincoln Center's The Allen Room, Feinstein's Loews Regency, and Café Carlyle. Last year, Diana directed Austin Pendleton in Charles Mee's critically acclaimed Limonade Tous les Jours.

JASPER GRANT is the current Musical Supervisor of The Color Purple and is an active vocal coach in the city.

PHONG TA is concertmaster for New York City's LGBT symphony (The Queer Urban Orchestra) and is also a member of the Manhattan Symphonie.

JULIE DANIELSON played bass in the onstage band for the First National Tour of Spring Awakening and was seen playing for MTV's reality show, "Legally Blonde: The Search for the next Elle Woods". She has played for many other singers, shows and albums in New York, including NYMF shows, many benefits with The Actors Fund and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and many of Seth Rudetsky's Broadway events.
