Civil War Spy Thriller COURIERS AND CONTRABANDS to Premiere 9/5 at TBG Theatre
The Timeline Projects proudly presents the world premiere of Victor Lesniewski's (Khardal, Berkeley Rep; Cloven Tongues, The Wild Project) Civil War spy thriller, Couriers and Contrabands, developed with and directed by Kareem Fahmy (The In-Between, Noor Theatre; Asst. Director Once, New York Theatre Workshop). Couriers and Contrabands will play a four week limited engagement at the TBG Theatre (312 W 36th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10018). Performances begin Saturday, September 5th and continue through Saturday, September 26th, 2015 . Opening Night is Friday, September 11th at 8:00 pm. 1864. Petersburg, Virginia. As the Civil War rages on, Confederate operatives in control of a courier line work to gather information on the Union's efforts. Little do they know that they themselves are being watched by a contraband masquerading as a slave who acts in the interest of the North.
Take a glimpse inside an unknown chapter of American history. As we commemorate the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War, let's re-examine the War from a whole new perspective. Couriers and Contrabands is an intriguing, sexy spy thriller about the unsung heroes behind the scenes.

Couriers and Contrabands performance schedule: Saturday, Sept 5th at 8:00 pm; Tuesday, Sept 8th through Saturday, September 12th at 8:00 pm; Wednesday, Sept 16th through Saturday, September 19th at 8:00 pm; Sunday, September 20th at 7:00 pm; Monday, September 24th at 8:00 pm; Thursday, September 24th through Friday, September 25th at 8:00 pm; and Saturday, September 26th at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Running Time: 2 hours (Includes one 15min intermission).
