CAROLINE'S Presents HINDSIGHT
On Tuesday, February 9 at 7:30pm, Famed midtown Comedy Club Carolines presents Hindsight, a new monthly comedy show where where top stand-up comedians tell funny, true stories, then face interjections and follow-up questions from the hosts and audience. Hosted by Dan Perlman (Just For Laughs Festival) and Billy Prinsell (Comedy Central's Comics to Watch), the show is as interactive as it is hilarious. Comedians are invited to tell a story on stage but are warned that their story can be interrupted at any time by hosts Dan and Billy. "We're not trying to derail comics' stories" said co-host Dan Perlman. "We're just tryna enhance it, so the comic might end up going in an angle that they didn't expect when they started the story." This creates an energetic and loose vibe that is a thrill for audience members to witness. "They're not just seeing a comic tell a funny story" added co-host Billy Prinsell. "They get an exclusive peek behind the curtain of the process, discovery, development of a story evolving in front of them". No one, not even the comics themselves, knows where the story and show will end up by the end of the night. At the end of each story, audience members get to join the fun in an interview and Q and A segment moderated by Billy and Dan. The show, which originally premiered to a sold out crowd during the prestigious New York Comedy Festival, is making its Carolines debut February 9.
