Broadway's Anthony Holds (Spamalot, Pal Joey), Andrew Redlawsk (The Bowery Boys) and Al Bundonis (Sessions) are featured in a developmental reading of I Am Jim Thompson, book by Zac Kline (Messed Up Here Tonight, Together This Time), music by Barrymore Nominee Mark T Evans (Buddy Holly at the Armory), lyrics by Eric Kubo (Buddy Holly at the Armory) directed by Rachel Dart (Prospect Theater Company, The Gallery Players).

The reading is part of Emerging Artists Theatre's New Work's Series: Notes from a Page. Notes from a Page features readings of thirteen new musicals from May 4 - May 21st.

I Am Jim Thompson tells the story of Jim Thompson, an American businessman who revitalized the Thai silk industry who mysteriously disappeared on Easter Sunday, 1967 and to this day has not been found.

The show also features Megan Stern (Straight Up Vampire), Katie Zaffran (Before the Flood, Emerging Artists Theatre), Sandy York (Things As They Are, NYMF), Steven Eng (Honor), and Jaygee Macapugay (Reefer Madness, The Gallery Players).

Zac Kline, Mark T Evans and Eric Kubo developed I Am Jim Thompson at the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, Tisch at NYU. Mark T Evans and Eric Kubo currently attend the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop. Rachel Dart has directed throughout New York City and has extensively assistant directed and has been an SDCD observer.
