"It is an honor to be featured in this year's New York International Fringe Festival. Our piece is very unique, blending spoken word poetry, dance and music with scripted dialogue, bringing the audience into the minds of each character in an innovative way. We are excited to be able to debut Catalyst at such a groundbreaking festival where theater truly thrives." - Aisha Jordan, Artistic Director, 2050 Legacy.

Catalyst is a full-length play created by the 2050 Legacy ensemble members, developed in collaborative artistic retreats over the past couple of years. "Catalyst explores what is happening now in the world. Looking at issues in a futuristic way asking what an apocalypse means to an individual. The timing on this piece couldn't be better, with upcoming elections, to have a performance that questions how we can shape the future is inspiring. 2050 Legacy brings a new voice to theater" - Rafael Jordan American Conservatory Theater, Catalyst Assistant Director.
