The company also celebrates the formation of an Artistic Advisory Board that includes luminaries in the fields of theater, fine art, and fiction: Jack Pierson (Chairman), David Anzuelo, Susan Batson, Michael Cunningham, Craig Lucas, and Lucy Thurber. Judy Bowman, {YOUR NAME HERE}'s company casting director, will serve as president of the Board of Directors.
For its first production under this new artistic configuration, {YOUR NAME HERE} is the associate producer of a workshop production of Daniel Talbott's new play What Happened When with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater presenting. The work will feature Will Pullen (Punk Rock/MCC), Samantha Soule (Barbecue/Public), and Jimi Stanton (Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait/Rattlestick), and plays December 15th-December 20th with performances at 7pm every evening. Reservations are required and can be made by emailing tickets.rattlestick@gmail.com. There is a suggested $10 donation.
In the play, two young men, brothers who have recently been separated, reunite for a night of reminiscence and truth telling. The production will be staged in a hyper intimate setting, with 20 seats per night. The creative team includes John McDermott (Sets), Tristan Raines (Costumes), Kia Rogers (Lighting), David Anzuelo (Fight Choreography), and John Zalewski (Sound).
