After a short 'preview run' downtown, The Ultimate Drag Off- The Interactive Game Show Musical has moved to Off-Broadway in the heart of Times Square starting January 29th, 2011.
Watch your Host Sweetie (aka Daniel Booth) and a roster of weekly changing talent with guest Co-Hosts from Broadway, Film and Television. January 29th, 2011 will debut with special guest Co-Host, Mary Testa! Xanadu (Drama Desk nomination), Chicago, 42nd Street (Tony nomination), Marie Christine, On the Town (Tony nomination) ...Forum, The Rink, Marilyn, Barnum. Off-Broadway: Regrets Only, See What I Wanna See (Drama Desk and Drama League nominations), First Lady Suite (Drama Desk nomination), String of Pearls (Drama Desk nomination), The Vagina Monologues, From Above (Obie), others.Audiences can expect a new show every week with theme nights, prize giveaways and in the form of 70's game shows such as 'Let's Make a Deal' and 'The Gong Show', mixed with 'America's Got Talent' in Drag! This laugh out loud romp is a hidden treasure in New York City as the audience decides the outcome of the show every week. Directed by Alex Perez (Oz, Media Killed, De la Guarda), audiences can liberate themselves in a festive atmosphere where they control the outcome of the show. Set in a cabaret style seating, the evening begins 30 minutes prior to curtain with music, giveaways, drinks and an opportunity for the audience to socialize. Show times are Saturdays at 10:30PM
