Single tickets are now on sale to the general public for Second Stage Theatre's world premiere production of INVISIBLE THREAD, a new musical by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, in association with American Repertory Theater, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Finding Neverland, Pippin). INVISIBLE THREAD will begin previews on Saturday, October 31st at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street). Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2nd.

Single tickets for INVISIBLE THREAD are $79, with box balcony seating at $64. Tickets are available at www.2ST.com or by calling the box office at 212-246-4422. A limited number of 30 under 30 seats are available for $30.

Determined to find his place in the world, 20-something Griffin leaves his job and his New York City apartment to volunteer for a charity in Africa. But when his altruistic aspirations collide with the real world, his life is changed in unexpected and profound ways. Inspired by a true story, this rousing new musical infuses a world pop score with African beats in an electrifying journey about discovering whether changing the world is even possible.

INVISIBLE THREAD, previously titled Witness Uganda, had its world premiere at American Repertory Theater in February 2014.

Second Stage Theatre Company is currently presenting the world premiere of WHORL INSIDE A LOOP, written by Dick Scanlan and Sherie Rene Scott and directed by Michael Mayer and Dick Scanlan, running through September 27th.

INVISIBLE THREAD is part of a four-play package starting at $195 which includes Whorl Inside a Loop by Dick Scanlan and Sherie Rene Scott and directed by Michael Mayer and Dick Scanlan (playing through September 27); Invisible Thread (beginning October 31) by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews and directed by Diane Paulus; Smart People (beginning January 2016) by Lydia R. Diamond and directed by Kenny Leon and Dear Evan Hansen (beginning Spring 2016) with book by Steven Levenson, music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and directed by Michael Greif.
