THE NEXT GENERATION 2010 Concludes ATW's Working In The Theatre Season

The American Theatre Wing's final edition of "Working in the Theatre" for the 2009 - 2010 season is now available online, following its debut on CUNY TV, channel 75 in New York, on Sunday, July 25th. "Working in the Theatre: The Next Generation 2010" will re-air on CUNY TV on Friday, July 30th at 9:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, July 31st at 11:00 a.m.

"Working in the Theatre: The Next Generation 2010" features Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal), Robin De Jesús (La Cage aux Folles, In the Heights), John Gallagher, Jr. (American Idiot, Spring Awakening), Jon Michael Hill (Superior Donuts) and Krysta Rodriguez (The Addams Family, In the Heights). The episode is now available for viewing online at http://americantheatrewing.org/wit/detail/next_generation_06_10.

This episode follows three years after "Working in the Theatre: The Next Generation", which aired in 2007 and featured Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins), Jonathan Groff ("Glee", Spring Awakening), Alison Pill (The Miracle Worker, Mauritius) and John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys). As previously announced, the American Theatre Wing is now accepting applications for the 2011 Jonathan Larson® Grants. The grants, given annually to honor emerging composers, lyricists and book writers, help to continue Tony® Award-winning composer Jonathan Larson's dream of infusing musical theatre with a contemporary, joyful, urban vitality. Applications must be post marked by September 1, 2010. All applications must include book, music, and lyrics from one or more works of musical theatre.
