Reading Of McKee's STRAY Presented As Part Of Immigrant Heritage Week 4/20

By: Apr. 13, 2009

The story of a white couple who move to Ohio from Uganda with a very traumatized adopted child, and struggle to find a place for him within the public school system. We follow Daniel's progress through the eyes of the adults who are responsible for him, as his behavior becomes increasingly alienating and dangerous, forcing them to question the roles they've taken on as caregivers.

STRAY is presented as part of New York City's Immigrant Heritage Week sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs. Immigrant Heritage Week is a unique celebration of the vibrant immigrant cultures, heritage, and communities found in every corner of the City.

All readings are held at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex
312 W. 36th Street, 1st Floor (Between 8th/9th Avenues)

All First Readings are FREE. No reservations required.
