RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD will now conclude its limited engagement at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane) on Sunday, February 18, 2018 (previously announced for March 18). At the time of closing RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD will have played 21 previews and 129 regular performances.

In addition to the special performance at SXSW, plans are in the works for an original cast album, and for additional productions and touring across the US in 2019, with cities and dates to be announced.

"It is an honor to be a part of Red Roses, Green Gold, as I have listened to and loved this music for many years," said Co-Founder and CEO of MWM Live Gigi Pritzker of MWM Live. "We have been overwhelmed by the number of fans that have come out to see their favorite music in a brand-new way. As we catapult the production into its next phase we're excited to watch what unfolds for the show."

Directed and choreographed by Rachel Klein (More Than All the World), with a book by Michael Norman Mann (BOX 27), RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD features additional music & lyrics by Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bob Weir, and Bill Kreutzmann, with musical supervision and arrangements by Jeff Chimenti. RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD brings the music and lyrics of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter to the stage. This new musical set in 1920s Cumberland tells the fantastical and comical tale of Jackson Jones and his family of swindlers as they gamble their way to love and riches.

RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD features a cast of eight actor-musicians on stage at the intimate Minetta Lane Theatre, in the tradition of some of the 20th century's most popular musicians playing the iconic venues of Greenwich Village. Leading them is musical supervisor and arranger Jeff Chimenti, the extraordinary keyboardist who, since 1997, has played several tours such as Fare Thee Well, Furthur, and Dead & Company.

Ticket prices for RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD range from $58-$88, with premium tickets available for $125. All tickets are available for purchase via Ticketmaster.com and at the Minetta Lane Theatre Box Office. The box office is open Tuesdays - Sunday, 1pm to 6pm.
