PTP/NYC’s Season at Atlantic 2 to Feature SERIOUS MONEY, Beginning 7/3

PTP/NYC, in association with Middlebury College, will present its 26th repertory season, its 6th consecutive in New York, running from July 3 – 29, 2012 in a limited Off-Broadway engagement at The Atlantic Stage 2, located at 330 West 16th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues in New York City.

The Serious Money cast includes David Barlow (Horizon at NY Theatre Workshop, Oroonoko with Theater for a New Audience, Victory with PTP), NYIT Award winner Megan Byrne (Territories, The Europeans and No End of Blame with PTP), NYIT Award nominee Alex Draper (Terrorism with New Group, Scenes From An Execution, Lovesong of the Electric Bear and Territories with PTP), James O. Dunn, Tara Giordano (Lovesong of the Electric Bear and Politics of Passion with PTP), Brent Langdon (The Europeans with PTP), Jeanne laSala Taylor (No End of Blame with PTP), Mathew Nakitare (Victory and A Question of Mercy with PTP), Aubrey Dube, Gillian Durkee (Territories with PTP), Alicia Evancho, Charles Giardina, Meghan Leathers, Molly O'Keefe and Lucy Van Atta (Spatter Pattern with PTP).

The creative team includes Carol Christensen (Musical Direction), Alicia Evancho (Choreography), Hallie Zieselman (Set Design), Mark Evancho (Lighting Design), Allison Rimmer (Sound Design) and Jule Emerson with JorDan Jones (Costume Design).

The Monster cast includes Ken Cheeseman (A Midsummer Night's Dream and Measure For Measure with NY Shakespeare Festival, Amphitryon and Scapin with Classic Stage Company), Christo Grabowski (Spatter Pattern with PTP), Paula Langton (A Question of Mercy with PTP), Joe Varca (LoveSick at 59E59), Noah Berman, Britian Seibert and John Zdrojeski.

The creative team includes Hallie Zieselman (Set Design), Mark Evancho (Lighting Design), Stephen Dee (Sound Design) and Adrienne Carlile with Christine Han (Costume Design).

This season's line-up includes Caryl Churchill's Serious Money - receiving its first New York revival since the 1988 Broadway production - about greed in London's financial district in the late '80s, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Cheryl Faraone, and a revival of Neal Bell's Monster, a stage adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Jim Petosa.
