OCEAN FRONT Will Have New York Premiere at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre

The Manhattan Repertory Theatre will present the New York Premiere of OCEAN FRONT by Tom Cavanaugh for three performances as part of their Summer Shorts Series on August 14th, 16th and 17th at Manhattan Repertory Theatre, 17-19 West 45th St - Third Floor, Curtain at 6:30 pm.

Tom Cavanaugh's timely and galvanizing play, directed by A.J. Ciccotelli, was developed in workshop at La Strada Ensemble Theatre in New Jersey, The Shelter here in N.Y.C and the Woodside Players of Queens, NY. OCEAN FRONT World Premiered last month at the Theatre Workshop of Owensboro in Owensboro, Kentucky. James and Tom Cavanaugh at Paris Avenue Productions are producing OCEAN FRONT. OCEAN FRONT is about the divorce of a gay couple that lives on the Jersey Shore. The play explores the reality of married life in the twenty-first century and the hardships inflicted on people that care about each other during these trying times in today's America.

Written by Pickering Award winner Tom Cavanaugh (BEHOLD, INLAND EMPRESS, ADAM & YOSHI) and directed by award winning playwright and filmmaker A.J. Ciccotelli. OCEAN FRONT will feature Derek Agile Jones (A Star is Born) and W. Allen Wrede.
