'Macbeth' Dress Rehearsal Tickets Avail From Actors Fund

A limited number of tickets are available to watch the March 28th final dress rehearsal of Macbeth, starring Patrick Stewart, at 8 pm at The Lyceum Theatre in New York.

These select orchestra and front mezzanine tickets are available only through The Actors Fund, and are being sold as a special benefit to raise money for the vital programs and services of The Fund.

The award winning production, which is moving to Broadway directly from sold-out engagements at BAM and The West End's Gielgud Theatre, will play only 64 performances on Broadway.

Patrick Stewart received the Evening Standard Award for Best Actor and the Critics Circle Theatre Award for Best Shakespearean Performance for his appearance in this production.  Director Rupert Goold received both the Evening Standard and Critics Circle Theatre awards for Best Director.  The production also received the What's On Stage Award for Best Shakespearean Production.  'Macbeth' has also been nominated for five Olivier Awards: Best Actor for Patrick Stewart, Best Director for Rupert Goold, Best Revival, Best Lighting Design for Howard Harrison, and Best Set Design for Anthony Ward and Lorna Heavey.

The cast features Michael Feast as Macduff, Kate Fleetwood as Lady Macbeth, and Martin Turner as Banquo, as well as Oliver Birch, Ben Carpenter, Polly Frame, Scott Handy, Sophie Hunter, Hywel John, Christopher Knott, Niamh McGrady, Bill Nash, Christopher Patrick Nolan, Mark Rawlings and Tim Treloar.
