LAByrinth Theater Company (John Ortiz, Artistic Director; Philip Seymour Hoffman, Co-Artistic Director; John Gould Rubin, Co-Artistic Director & Executive Director) has announced complete casting for the new play in development,  SWEET STORM by Scott Hudson, the seventh and final play in the inaugural Public LAB series.  Directed by Padraic Lillis, the two-member cast features Jamie Dunn (The Long Red Road in LAByrinth's Barn Series), and Eric T. Miller (Betrayed).  The development production will have three performances only, Friday, June 20th at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 21st at 2:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m. at The Public Theater (425 Lafayette Street at Astor Place).

In SWEET STORM, rain clouds and a heavy wind blow love, revelation and honesty into the lives of two tree-bound newlyweds in a story of a honeymoon in a treehouse.  SWEET STORM has a running time of approximately 50 minutes and, in a new departure for LAByrinth Theater Company, is appropriate for young audiences of 12-years or older.

To engage in the development process, members of the public are invited to contribute to the Sweet Storm Blog at www.LABtheater.org.

The creative team for SWEET STORM includes Martin Andrew  (Scenic Design), Lea Umberger (Costume Design), Sarah Sidman (Lighting Design), and Betsy Rhodes (Sound Design).

Tickets are $10 and available at The Public Theater Box Office, by calling (212) 967-7555, or online at www.publictheater.org.  The Public Theater is located at 425 Lafayette Street.

Time Warner is the lead sponsor of new play development at LAByrinth Theater Company.
