Entertainment Events Productions today announced that disco legend Gloria Gaynor will make a special one-night-only musical appearance at Off-Broadway's smash hit GIRLS NIGHT: THE MUSICAL on Sunday, May 23rd at 3PM. Gloria Gaynor is set to perform with the cast during the disco infused finale, which brings the crowds to their feet every performance in a singing and dancing frenzy. The show is currently playing its third New York engagement, through June 27th only, at the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre at Sofia's (227 West 46th Street, next to the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre). Girls Night is also playing at Studio 54 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas as well.

Gloria Gaynor is best known for the disco era hits "I Will Survive," "Never Can Say Goodbye," "Let Me Know (I Have a Right)," and "I Am What I Am." She was officially named "Queen of the Discos" in March 1976 at Club Les Jardins in New York City. In 2005, Gaynor was honored twice when she and her music were inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame. VH-1 recently declared "I Will Survive" to be the greatest dance hit of all time. Gloria Gaynor continues to perform to sold-out crowds worldwide.

Girls Night: The Musical, written by Louise Roche and directed by Jack Randle, has earned rave reviews playing packed houses throughout the United Kingdom since 2003. It premiered in the US in May 2007 and has toured across the country since then. It has been described as "'Desperate Housewives' meets Mamma Mia!" (Applause Magazine), "a boisterous, bust-out, bawdy musical revue" (Wisconsin State Journal), "An infectious, exhilarating sense of intoxication!" (Hollywood Reporter) and "As funny and outrageous as ‘Sex and the City'!" (The Advocate). Hilarious and touching, Girls Night: The Musical follows five friends in their 30s and 40s during a wild and outrageous girls night out at a karaoke bar. Friends since their teens, they have all had their fair share of heartache and tragedy, joy and success. Together, they reminisce about their younger days, celebrate their current lives and look to the future, all the while belting out an array of classic anthems such as "I Will Survive," "Lady Marmalade," "It's Raining Men," "Man I Feel Like a Woman," and "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."

Performances are Thursday through Friday evenings at 8 PM, Saturday at 5 PM & 8PM, and Sunday at 3 PM. Tickets are $55 and may be purchased online at www.girlsnightthemusical.com or by phone at 212/947-9300.
