FUERZA BRUTA to Celebrate 10th Global Anniversary This Week

OZONO Productions and Brierpatch Productions are excited to celebrate the 10th Global Anniversary of the international phenomenon Fuerza Bruta this Thursday, July 9th at 8:00PM at the Daryl Roth Theatre (101 East 15th Street, NYC). The celebration will culminate with a one-night-only extended DJ set by Rob Garza (of Thievery Corporation). The 10th Global Anniversary will also premiere a new hi-tech digital projection element, which is sure to wow fans of Fuerza Bruta both new and old.

"The show has been continually evolving since we started in Argentina 10 years ago. This week we debut mind-blowing projections, as well as celebrating our milestone Anniversary. There is no better way to kick off the next 10 years than by partying with famed DJ Rob Garza," said director Diqui James.

The New York City production of Fuerza Bruta originally began performances at the Daryl Roth Theatre in 2007, and recently celebrated its 2,500th performance. Originating in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2005, Fuerza Bruta has been thrilling audiences across the globe for 10 years, including productions this year in Brazil, Budapest, Istanbul, Peru and a tour in China continuing this summer. Over 5 million spectators have been captivated in over 25 countries and over 50 cities.

Fuerza Bruta recently announced a partnership with NYC's legendary nightclub/live music venue Webster Hall to host DJ Nights following every Friday late night performance this summer. The DJs will be hand selected by Webster Hall, and will play a special extended 20-30 minute dance set during the performance. Admission to Webster Hall is free to all Fuerza Bruta ticket holders on the night they attend the performance, so they can continue the party at the official Fuerza Bruta after party location.

Founding member of international music group Thievery Corporation, Rob Garza's career includes decades-worth of accolades as a pioneer of a flourishing electronic music movement. Originally hailing from Washington, DC, Garza's legacy includes the formation of ESL Music, as well as a timeless music catalog that still in rotation today. His infusion of electronic music with the international flavors of dub, trip hop, reggae, and bossa nova gave birth to an new era of sound that has attracted a cult following across the decades.
